"Real happiness is found in the struggles we undergo to realise our goals, in our efforts to move forward." Daisaku Ikeda
Things have been really tough lately. So I’ve decided to do my best to keep the head up, and the one thing I’d like to commit to over the next wee while is to write a gratitude post every day if I can.
It’s simple really. Write two or three things you are grateful for in the day or moment, regardless of what is going on in life and hopefully I will train my mind to keep focussing on the positives!
I’ve been meaning to start this for a little while, but there is no time like the present to start a new cause! Or to freshen your determinations for life. Determinations, and gratitude help us transform our perspectives on life and give us focus on where we are heading/Or destinations we want to reach in life. Here goes!
Things I am grateful for today:
1- The drive in to work. I really find peace and comfort in driving. And if there is traffic It’s a great excuse to enjoy the music just a little longer.
2 – Todays conversation and budding friendship with someone new in my life. Frankie has been a new source of inspiration amongst all the dread lately. So I am thankful for having her conversations and encouragement in my life. We have made plans to have dessert on Monday night after our work meetings! Something wonderful to look forward to.
