"Real happiness is found in the struggles we undergo to realise our goals, in our efforts to move forward." Daisaku Ikeda
Sometimes in this practice there are times when I cannot focus on my determinations. For a large portion of the beginning of my journey I decided to just have gratitude, thankful-ness, and deep appreciation for my life itself. Alongside the privilege of practicing NDB.
I am so incredibly lucky to be here today, and I have learnt over time to appreciate and acknowledge all of the things that have contributed to my growth and security.
So I have decided to start posting
5 things I can be thankful for today:
1- A relaxed and caring employer who respects my health
2 – A full pantry, fresh from food shopping yesterday
3 – A warm house, and bed to nurse me back to health
4 – Connection to the internet so I can express myself and keep myself entertained
5 – To have had two great conversations with both of my parents today
What are YOU grateful for?
