"Real happiness is found in the struggles we undergo to realise our goals, in our efforts to move forward." Daisaku Ikeda
So for my wonderful followers, I have been sick – as you may know from my previous post of course.
But I felt that I should write up my gratitude challenge for today – And hopefully in turn encourage you to think of what you are grateful for today.
1 – I can be thankful for my road to recovery. Almost a week of being sick, just today I have been perking up. Phew!
2 – I had an amazing meeting today with two lovely ladies, to discuss an exhibition I can help to provide. focussing on Anti-bullying and ending passive/physical violence. I am grateful that it went well, and that I had an opportunity to share my passion for these issues.
3 – Super grateful for a phone conversation from a buddhist friend J. So lovely to have a catch up! and talk her ear off – Whoops! Love deepening my connections, and community.
4 – Grateful to have a close friend visiting, for a catch up and disruption of the grind.
5 – Grateful for a delicious kai (food) this evening.
Ok those got weaker, but I’m distracted and being anti-social to appease you.
What are YOU grateful for today?
