"Real happiness is found in the struggles we undergo to realise our goals, in our efforts to move forward." Daisaku Ikeda
Some gratitude for the day…
1 – I have immense gratitude for Amanda Palmer. Words can’t really express how she fills my heart, and helps the tears flow, in that healing kinda way. I have never been able to catch her shows when she’s been in town! and that is a tragedy. But her soul is within every lyric and note she shares with the world… that is good enough for me. If I ever met her I think I’d cry, with pure happiness and gratitude for such a beautiful soul.
2- I have gratitude for World Peace Chanting that happens the first Sunday of every month. That was this morning. 🙂 It always allows me to walk away with a sense of encouragement and is a great opportunity to break through with chanting. Today I held away the tears, because I am strong! I love my Buddhist family!
3 – I have gratitude for my computer. IT keeps me happy, sane and entertained, Ah technology, bless.
4 – More gratitude for cool friends! I had a fantastic time at a Halloween shin dig last night. Here is a picture. Which I took before I left. The other pictures from the evening have friends in them, so I’d rather not reveal without permission. Behold! The undead pirate!
