"Real happiness is found in the struggles we undergo to realise our goals, in our efforts to move forward." Daisaku Ikeda
I have been quite interested in the Flower of Life Mandala for a while now, paired with the torus.. and the concept of continuous creation and free energy.
Perhaps some information on that, at a later date. I just really enjoy the profundity of symbology, and the magic of geometry.
The image below is one that I found scrolling the internet a few weeks back.
It totally took my heart, and imagination with the depth of meaning. I always associate the lotus flower, with the cliche metaphor of the beautiful flower having struggled, and birthed from the muddy waters. Symbolizing the great beauty in being born from hardship.
In many ways I liken my own life to that of the journey the lotus takes. Having been raised and rinsed through numerous events in my life that have left mud stains embedded on my person… left in all those hard to clean spots! I have overcome many hardship, and now sit with beauty and all of those things in life that make life enchanting. With a better perspective on the obstacles that may present themselves.
