A Ship to cross the Sea of Suffering

"Real happiness is found in the struggles we undergo to realise our goals, in our efforts to move forward." Daisaku Ikeda

There is so much in my life that I can be grateful for at the moment.

We have just completed an amazing school tour, 10 schools: 5 days over 2,500 students and teachers, guidance counsellors. Producing this project has been the most rewarding process ever. And it’s a shame that when life presents you with moments like these, No words could comprehend and express our experience.

I have really started building myself up, to deliver the passion I keep inside through education, and dialogue.

My dream is being able to be part of projects like this one we’ve just completed. Finding creative and diverse ways of educating youth, and wider audiences about messages that really matter.

Having pulled off months of hard work, to bring a programme that addresses bullying, passive and physical violence, suicide and cultural history to school throughout my town, is just such a major achievement for me. And it really affirms my drive for making a difference, doing things that make people think. Encouraging all people I meet to create change from within their own lives. Simply by being a role model… and showing respect for myself and others. Living with heart, and not anger.

The voice is a marvelous tool.
